Wealth Management: How We Add Value

As your advisor, we add value in a number of ways:

Envision® Planning

By planning your investments around benchmarks and life events that hold real meaning for you, the Envision® process can connect you to your investment strategy in a refreshing, revealing and personal way. Even better, it can keep you apprised of that most critical of financial questions, “How am I doing?” Our process offers you the tools and technology you need to discuss your life expectations, decide on an appropriate investment strategy, track your progress and re-sync – or rethink – your approach whenever necessary.

Diversification

Using strategic asset allocation our client portfolios seek to improve risk-adjusted return. Strategy, discipline and philosophy are the basic tenets for our strategic asset allocation recommendations. Asset allocation attempts to reduce risk and volatility, and maximize returns. In order to help achieve this we stress diversification across all our models. We believe asset allocation is critical in determining not only an investor’s ultimate destination but also the nature of the path taken to get there. The discipline part involves a commitment to the established strategy regardless of ones emotions. Asset allocation discipline implicitly incorporates contrarian views to some degree. The resulting philosophy is one that doesn’t get carried away in good times or bad. We believe we can help avoid some of the pitfalls that often accompany unusual marketplace conditions.

Envision® is a registered service mark of Wells Fargo & company and used under license. Diversification does not guarantee profit or protect against loss in declining markets. Asset Allocation cannot eliminate the risk of fluctuating prices and uncertain returns.

Advice, Investments and Independence

We operate independently from all investment products and are only obligated to our clients. This allows us to work with almost any investment manager, mutual fund, investment product or other service provider. We believe that no one firm is the best at everything, which is why our independence is so vital and allows us to provide our clients a conflict-free experience, giving them more confidence in our advice.

Client Experience

Putting clients’ needs above all else, we provide exceptional service based on trust and knowledge, supported by one of the nation’s largest investment firms. By being both proactive and highly responsive we strive to make for an exceptional client experience.

Security and Protection of Assets

The securities industry in the United States is among the most heavily regulated in the world to help ensure that investment accounts are a safe and accessible place for individuals, families and businesses to place money they wish to invest. The Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) is the securities industry’s primary regulatory body. A cornerstone of protection of client assets in investment firms is the segregation of assets — that is, client assets are held separately from the assets of the investment firm. This principle is laid out in the SEC’s Customer Protection Rule, which states that all fully paid client securities must be held separately from the investment firm’s own assets and are not available for firm use. The rule ensures that if an investment firm experiences losses, investor assets are not affected.

Wells Fargo Advisors is a member of the Securities Investor Protection Corporation (SIPC). Of course, SIPC doesn’t insure the quality of investments or protect against losses from fluctuating market value.
